Construction Welded Wire Mesh — Main Applications
Core function: Concrete reinforcement, crack resistance and stress distribution. It can replace manually tied steel bars on site and speed up construction.
Building Construction (Most Common)
Floor slabs & roof slabs: Embedded in cast-in-place slabs to improve tensile strength and reduce concrete shrinkage cracks.
Floors for garages, warehouses and workshops: Increase bearing capacity of heavy-duty floors and prevent cracking and sanding.
Wall plaster mesh: Applied on internal and external wall insulation layers and junctions between masonry and concrete to avoid hollowing and cracking (also known as plaster mesh).
Foundations & basement slabs: Anti-crack reinforcement for foundation concrete.
Underfloor Heating Projects (Underfloor heating mesh, a branch of construction welded wire mesh) Laid in the heating screed layer to fix heating pipes, distribute heat evenly and prevent screed cracking.
Municipal, Road & Bridge Infrastructure
Reinforcement for concrete roads, residential roads and bridge deck pavement.
Tunnel lining and pipe galleries: Used in shotcrete (shotcrete support) to stop rock fragments falling off.
Slope and foundation pit support: Bolt + mesh shotcrete for slope stabilization against collapse.
Concrete surfaces of airport runways and squares.
Precast Components Steel mesh embedded in precast floor slabs, precast wall panels, concrete covers and other cement products for factory prefabrication.
Other Auxiliary Uses Temporary site fencing & isolation mesh; livestock fencing & cage bottom mesh; retaining walls and riverbank protection.
