Galvanized hexagonal mesh is a type of wire mesh that is made by weaving steel wire into a hexagonal pattern and then coating it with zinc through a process known as galvanization. This zinc coating provides the mesh with enhanced resistance to rust and corrosion, making it highly durable and suitable for various applications. it’s used for agricultural fencing, erosion control, structural reinforcement in construction, and making gabion baskets. Additionally, it serves decorative purposes in gardens and supports creative DIY projects.

Electro Galvanized: This process applies a zinc coating of about 8-12 microns through electrochemical means, offering smooth coverage and moderate corrosion resistance, suitable for indoor uses or mild outdoor conditions.
Hot-Dipped Galvanized: By submerging the mesh in molten zinc, this method coats the mesh with 50-100 microns of zinc, enhancing its durability for outdoor use and providing excellent protection against harsh environmental conditions.
Galfan Galvanized: Using a zinc-aluminum alloy, this treatment covers the mesh with a 150-200 micron layer, delivering superior corrosion resistance ideal for coastal and highly corrosive areas.
Additional PVC / Vinyl Coating: A PVC or vinyl layer, typically 0.4 to 0.6 mm thick, is added over the galvanized mesh to further protect against corrosion, UV rays, and abrasion, perfect for demanding environments like riverbanks and wetlands.
Weaving Techniques
Straight Normal Twist : This method twists wires three to five times in a single direction, creating a consistent hexagonal pattern suitable for fine applications with wire diameters from 0.5 mm to 1.2 mm.
Reverse Twist : By alternating twist directions every one or two twists, this approach enhances the strength of the mesh for use in tougher environments, suitable for wire diameters of 0.6 mm to 1.4 mm.
Double Twist (Straight and Reverse) : This technique combines straight and reverse twists to improve durability and impact resistance, ideal for heavier applications using wire diameters from 0.8 mm to 2.0 mm and mesh sizes from 50 mm to 100 mm.
